Suggested Itinerary
Day 1 (Thursday or Monday)
New Zealand anglers
- Depart Auckland DJ 179 at 7am arrive Tonga 9.50am
- Auckland anglers meet at the airport and transferred to Domestic terminal for flight to Vava'u
- Depart Nuku'alofa 12.30pm arrive Vava'u 1.20pm
- Meet at the airport and transferred to Adventure Backpackers
Australian anglers
- Depart Sydney DJ 183 at 3.40pm arrive Tonga 11.10pm
- Meet at the airport and transferred to Winnies Guest house
Day 2 (Friday or Tuesday)
- Auckland anglers - Start fishing. departing 7/8 am returning around 5/6 pm just in time for a sunset cocktail or cold beer
- Sydney anglers - After breakfast picked up and transferred to Domestic terminal for flight to Vava'u
- You have 3 flights to choose from 6am, 11.30am & 2.40pm flight time 55 minutes
- Meet at airport in Vava'u and transferred to Adventure Backpackers
Day 3 (Saturday or Wednesday)
- Sydney anglers start fishing departing 7/8 am returning around 5/6 pm just in time for a sunset cocktail or cold beer
- Auckland anglers spare day to visit downtown Vava’u
Day 4 (Sunday or Thursday)
- Sydney anglers rest day
- Auckland anglers 2nd days fishing
Day 5 (Monday or Friday)
- Sydney anglers 2nd days fishing
- Auckland anglers spare day
Day 6 (Tuesday or Saturday)
- Sydney anglers spare day
- Auckland anglers 3rd days fishing
Day 7 (Wednesday or Sunday)
- Sydney anglers 3rd days fishing
- Auckland anglers rest day
Day 8 (Thursday or Monday)
New Zealand anglers
- Depart Vava'u your choice of 3 flights 7am, 12.30pm or 4.30pm
- If you take the am flight you will have all day in Nuku'alofa to tour around (we could arrange a land tour in Nuku'alofa to fill your day at your cost)
- You are welcome to stay at Hakula lodge for a late check out and catch the last flight to Nuku'alofa
- Depart Nuku'alofa DJ178 11.59pm arrives Auckland 1.59am Friday or Tuesday
Australian anglers
- Depart Vava'u 7am arrive Nuku'alofa 7.55am
- Meet at the domestic terminal and transferred to International
- Depart Tonga DJ182 12.10pm arrive Sydney 2.55pm
